Calendar feed with your DOXIO deadlines

How to add card, request, signing link and invoice deadlines to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, and how to turn the link off.

On this page

DOXIO can send your deadlines straight to the calendar you already use. You create a personal calendar link (an iCalendar address, .ics) and add it to your calendar as a subscription. The calendar fetches the link on its own, so new and changed deadlines appear without any work on your side.

Creating the link#

  1. In the Calendar section, choose what the calendar shows (see What the calendar contains).
  2. Click Create calendar link.
  3. Click Copy link and paste the link into your calendar right away.

Every team member has their own link, separately in each organization.

What the calendar contains#

Every deadline is an all-day event. The event title holds only the name of the card, request or document, and the event links back to DOXIO. Client names, e-mail addresses and amounts are never in the calendar.

Event
Card due date
When it appears
a card in a client workspace has a due date
Event
Request due date
When it appears
a request to the client has a due date and is not approved yet
Event
Signing link expires
When it appears
a document waits for signatures; the day its first open link expires
Event
Invoice due date
When it appears
an unpaid received or issued invoice, only for owners and admins with accounting switched on and a plan with payments
Event
Planned reminder
When it appears
optional; the days on which automatic reminders of unpaid issued invoices will go out

Assigned to me shows cards assigned to you, requests and invoices in workspaces you are responsible for, and documents you sent. Everything I can see shows every deadline you can open in DOXIO. If the organization lets members see only assigned workspaces, the calendar follows that rule (see Team and roles).

Archived workspaces and the sample workspace are never in the calendar. Deadlines older than 90 days are left out.

You can change the settings at any time with Save settings. The link stays the same and your calendar picks up the change on its next refresh.

Adding the link to your calendar#

  • Google Calendar: next to Other calendars click + → From URL, paste the link and confirm with Add calendar.
  • Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste the link and confirm.
  • iPhone and Mac: in the Calendar app choose Add Subscription Calendar (on a Mac File → New Calendar Subscription) and paste the link.

Calendars fetch the link at different intervals; Google Calendar may take several hours. DOXIO suggests a refresh every hour.

New link and turning it off#

Anyone who has the link sees your deadlines without signing in. Do not share it.

  • Create new link – the old link stops working right away. Add the new one to your calendar again.
  • Turn off link – the link stops working right away and DOXIO deadlines stop arriving in your calendar.

The link also stops working when you are removed from the organization or when you ask for your account to be deleted. Creating, changing and turning off the link is recorded in the organization's audit log; the link itself never is.
